Terra Energy has its origins at VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research). Terra Energy was created at the end of 2008 from the "underground energy storage" project group. The Terra Energy team relies on 20 years of national and international experience in energy extraction and energy storage in the ground through various technologies. Thanks to this extensive knowledge, our team is responsible for the introduction of ATES and BTES systems in the Belgian market.
